Abylight Studios and Frictional Games have confirmed a release date for their first-person horror masterpiece Amnesia: Rebirth on Nintendo Switch 2.
You play as Tasi Trianon, who awakens buried in the vast emptiness of the Algerian desert. Days have slipped away. Where were you taken? What happened? And where are the others? To survive the merciless terror closing in, you must piece together the scattered remnants of your broken memories and retrace the trail you left behind.
Time is against you. Step into Tasi’s world and lead her through the anguish she can barely face. As you push across a barren, unforgiving landscape, you’ll wrestle not only with the horrors around you but with the hopes, fears, and regrets clawing at your mind. Yet you have no choice but to press on, one step after another, knowing that failure means losing everything that still matters.
The game comes to the portable home console successor “in a complete and optimised version, ensuring peak performance on the system.”
The publisher has outlined the game’s key features, which include:

Amnesia: Rebirth will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide on 30 April 2026.
