Any hope of F1 2013 speeding its way to Wii U has been left abandoned in the pits.
Creative director Steve Hood explained their reasoning as being the port would “have to be a very different game” to that which they are delivering across other platforms.
In a response to whether it would hit Nintendo’s console, Hood had written: “Unfortunately it’d have to be a very different game just to run on the Wii U.”
It’s a sorry state to see the console continually missing out on third-party releases, with even stalwart supporter Ubisoft saying that they will have to reassess their commitment next year.
