The long anticipated Nintendo eShop will be in the palms of Nintendo 3DS owners worldwide over the next day, and Nintendo are offering an incentive for you to check it out.
Nintendo of Europe are offering those that link their Nintendo eShop and Club Nintendo accounts with 100 Stars as a free gift, alongside promising “extra benefits.”
The Nintendo eShop is due to be available within the Nintendo 3DS’ first major system update, due to go live across North America later today and throughout Europe tomorrow.
In order to link your accounts, Nintendo of Europe’s following message provides all the details you’ll need:
The latest system update for Nintendo 3DS, due on June 7th, brings a whole host of useful new features direct to your system, including Nintendo eShop – your gateway to a wide variety of downloadable content, games, applications and more.
If you’re already a Club Nintendo member, you’ll be able to link your Club Nintendo account to your Nintendo eShop account. By linking your accounts, it will be possible for you to take advantage of some cool benefits. And what’s more, if you link your accounts within three months of Nintendo eShop’s launch, you’ll receive 100 Stars as a free gift!
Linking your accounts is easy!
STEPS
1. Go to Settings / Other on the far left of the Nintendo eShop Main Menu or click on the Menu button in the upper left corner of the lower screen and select Settings / Other from there.
2. Scroll down and select “Club Nintendo Account”.
3. Enter your Club Nintendo email address and password.
4. Select “Link”.
