The EVO Championship Series will make a return in July, with co-founder Joey “MrWizard” Cuellar having revealed that competitors will do battle across nine games.

While that will encompass two unreleased games in Mortal Kombat X and Tekken 7, Nintendo fans will be delighted to see that both Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Melee have been included.

There was worry that the GameCube’s mascot brawler would be replaced by the new Wii U iteration, although Cuellar explained that they wanted to appeal to “new blood” as well as the existing community.

EVO 2015’s lineup, which is subject to change with potential additions, is as follows:

* Guilty Gear Xrd Sign
* Killer Instinct
* Mortal Kombat X
* Persona 4 Arena Ultimax
* Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
* Super Smash Bros. Melee
* Tekken 7
* Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
* Ultra Street Fighter 4

EVO 2015 takes place between 17th – 19th July 2015 at Bally’s and Paris Las Vegas Casino.
