Nintendo has revealed Everybody 1-2 Switch!, a “multiplayer mashup” that will release on Nintendo Switch later this month.
This sequel to 1-2-Switch promises to let you “turn any occasion into a party,” inviting you to gather your family and friends “as you gather family and friends “for some hilarious horsing around.”
Whether using Joy-Con controllers or smart devices, you will split into teams and compete to earn points by winning a certain number of “weird and wonderful” minigames. The team with the most points will claim the glory.
The announcement comes nearly a year after a report emerged that playtesting groups had delivered a “brutal” verdict about the game, leaving Nintendo unsure whether to release it or not. That situation has now changed but is unclear what changes, if any, have been made since.
Everybody 1-2-Switch! will release at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 30 June 2023.
