Aside from Banandium Gems and Fossils, Discs are another collectible that you will start to hoard in Donkey Kong Bananza as you continue your adventure in the Underground World.
These Discs randomly drop from any enemies that you defeat, with Pauline’s Diva Dress, when worn, making it twice as likely that they will appear. Even 45 hours into playing the game, it wasn’t until I unlocked the Diva Dress that I really started to increase my collection.
The benefit to unearthing them all is that you can then choose to listen to the game’s 110-track-strong soundtrack whenever resting at Getaway, which includes its belter of a theme song, “Breaking Through (Heart of Gold).”
Please be mindful that there are spoilers ahead for the names of each layer in the Underground World that you will visit on your subterranean adventure, as well as boss names and other content that is best experienced as a surprise on your first playthrough.
