eastasiasoft and Suzaku have announced that SENSEs: Midnight will release on Nintendo Switch in the coming months.
This is the first in an anthology of sequels to Sense: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story, which, taking inspiration from genre classics, is a 3D survival horror game with “tank controls and fixed camera angles in nostalgic style.”
It follows outgoing and adventurous college student Uesugi Kaho, who, when returning to Japan for a family visit, is dared by other members of her school’s occult research club to investigate The Midnight Door of Ikebukuro Walking Park.
She must prove that this infamous urban legend is true and capture positive proof of the paranormal. However, she soon comes to realise that entering the long-abandoned park may be the worst mistake she has ever made.
You will need to carefully manage your limited inventory slots to avoid backtracking, weighing risk and reward when choosing to solve puzzles that may alert vengeful spirits and use hiding spots to temporarily elude a relentless Onryo that pursues you.

SENSEs: Midnight will release at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in June 2023.
