NIS America have confirmed that they will release Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight in Europe early next year.
This comprises of an exhaustive reworking of Nintendo DS release Etrian Odyssey 2: Heroes of Lagaard, with new dungeon layouts, graphics and system improvements – as introduced in Etrian Odyssey Untold. Whereas it also includes an additional Untold portion, delivering a brand new story mode with a fixed party, voiced dialogue and animated cutscenes.
This will follow what is described as the “bittersweet tale” of the Fafnir Knight and Princess Arianna, adventuring through Ginnungagap’s ruins and the Yggdrasil Labyrinth with Flavio and two mysterious adventurers, Bertrand and Chloe.
Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS later this year in North America, and in Europe in early 2016.
