ATLUS has announced that they have once again collaborated with Spike Chunsoft to develop Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2.

The sequel will include all classes that had appeared in the game’s predecessor, adding five more for players to choose from: Alchemist, Blademaster, Buccaneer, Farmer and Monk.

The first-print copies will include a two-disc User’s Best Album, with artwork penned by Yuuji Himukai. The tracklist will be filled with music from the Etrian Odyssey series, with the final selection to be chosen by fans. Those that wish to place their vote can do so on the official Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 website.

There will also be an Etrian Odyssey 10th Anniversary Box, which will contain a copy of the Nintendo 3DS exclusive, a specially made box, and a 200-page Character Artwork book. This will be priced at 9,800 yen (£70).

ATLUS will host an Etrian Odyssey 10th Anniversary Commemoration Broadcast live on niconico on May 20th, with more details being promised at a later date.

The first Etrian Mystery Dungeon was met with a positive critical reception, sat with a 77 Metascore on Metacritic.

Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 will release exclusively on Nintendo 3DS in Japan on August 31st.
