The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has issued a rating for The Disney Afternoon Collection on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.
“The Disney Afternoon Collection is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB with Mild Fantasy Violence and Use of Tobacco,” the rating reads. “This is a collection of action platformer games from classic Disney franchises. Several games depict instances of mild, fantastical violence: players stunning enemies; characters shooting enemies; players throwing objects (e.g., boxes, rocks) at enemies; a plane shooting down enemy planes. Some games contain larger bosses and boss rush modes. One boss is depicted holding a cigar.”
This retro games compilation was released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC back in April 2017, and bundled DuckTales, DuckTales 2, Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers, Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers 2, TaleSpin, and Darkwing Duck.
With developer Digital Eclipse behind the port, Capcom never brought The Disney Afternoon Collection to Nintendo Switch despite their otherwise strong support for the portable home console. It would appear that, nearly a decade on, that may soon be about to change.
