After Dr. Kawashima’s Brain Training triggered expectation early last June, Wii U’s Virtual Console service has begun to see steady additions from the Nintendo DS catalogue this year.

We’ve already seen WarioWare: Touched!, Mario Kart DS and Yoshi’s Island DS, and it would appear that our adventures in the Mushroom Kingdom will only continue.

The Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB) have recently issued their rating information for New Super Mario Bros., which had seen Nintendo’s portly plumber return to his side-scrolling roots to save Princess Peach after Bowser Jr. kidnaps her.

As to precisely when New Super Mario Bros. will release through the service is unclear, but it most certainly won’t be too far away.
