Coconut Island Games has announced that Detention will release on Nintendo Switch, a story-driven atmospheric horror game heavily influenced by Taiwanese and East Asian culture, religious elements and mythology.
The game, from developer Red Candle Games, is based on the 1960s Taiwan under martial law, with the player controlling two students that become trapped in Greenwood high school.
After the school was beset by hostile supernatural events, the students must uncover stories behind the now haunted place, stumbling on ominous objects and solving puzzles in their efforts to escape.
Detention will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch on March 1st, priced at £9.49.
