The Pokémon Company has issued an errata for the Galvantula card that appears in the latest Pokémon Trading Card Game, XY – Steam Siege.
They have spotted an error on the card (No. 42/114), specifically in relation to the Electric and Bug-type Pokémon’s Double Thread attack. The original text reads:
This attack does 30 damage to 2 of your opponent’s Pokémon. Also apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.
This text will be changed to match the attack’s original intention, which was to affect only Benched Pokémon. Therefore, moving forward Double Thread will be updated to read:
This attack does 30 damage to 2 of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon. Apply Weakness and Resistance.
The change is effective immediately and is reflected on the Pokémon TCG Errata document.
