Devolver Digital and Dodge Roll have announced that Enter The Gungeon 2 is in development for Nintendo Switch 2.
In this high-caliber sequel to the iconic bullet hell dungeon crawler, you must battle through areas familiar and unknown as the ruined Gungeon reveals its secrets to those brave enough to enter.
After choosing from an expanding roster of Gungeoneers – both new and old – you must rescue and extract marooned heroes from the Gungeon’s depths.
With a new 3D art style, you have the chance to discover, unlock and master fantastic weaponry within the Gungeon’s procedurally generated halls and destroy the legions of Gundead that pour from within.
“Here’s the first look at Enter The Gungeon 2,” Dodge Roll creative director Dave Crooks began in this week’s Nintendo Direct. “Dodge countless bullets and aim for the Gungeon’s depths in this roguelike shooter sequel, now reloaded in a new 3D art style. You can expect some fan-favourite elements to return. We’re still working on the game, but we’re excited to share more with you in the future.”
Enter The Gungeon 2 will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide in 2026.
