1C Entertainment and Prime Matter have revealed Elisa as the third of three playable characters in King’s Bounty II, described as being “a human paladin who is ready to do anything to save her homeland.”
For more than a decade her homeland in Lorian has been embroiled in civil war, and now she sets out on a special mission to save Nostria. After a clash between farmers and mercenaries, Elisa suddenly acquired magic abilities that allowed her to push the enemy away from her village, and then far from all of Southern Lorian.
Chosen by the will of her people, she headed to the Universal Assembly where she wants to King to recognise her as legate on behalf of her people – which would grant her access to military resources and other means of establishing order in Nostria.
King’s Bounty II is a tactical turn-based RPG set in the vast realms of Antara, where a mysterious blight has corrupted the land and those that live there.
Refugees have started to arrive in the kingdom of Nostria, placing a strain on food and resources. Blight-distorted creatures now roam the countryside, leaving chaos and destruction behind. With the land fighting for survival, it is up to you to forge Antara’s future.
Choosing from one of three heroes that each has their own unique story, you will set out on “a non-linear, open-world adventure” across a fantasy landscape.
Your time will be split between two phases. First, you will journey across the realm from a third-person perspective to pick up quests and explore the wilderness. However, when you are met with conflict scenarios, the perspective will switch to tactical, turn-based combat where you will rely on your units’ strengths to emerge victoriously.
King’s Bounty II will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 24th August 2021.
