ELEX Rated For Nintendo Switch Release

It would appear that THQ Nordic is preparing to release ELEX on Nintendo Switch, with the news being outed in a rating that has been issued by Brazil’s Ministério da Justiça.

The handcrafted sci-fi action RPG places players into a seamless game world that is set in a post-apocalyptic universe, with developer Piranha Bytes promising original characters, mutated creatures, deep moral choices, and powerful action.

You will join a war over a powerful resource that grants people great magic-like powers but comes at the cost of turning them into indifferent cold creatures. Therefore, you must decide whether emotions and humaneness or cold synthetic logic will rule the world of Magalan.

What’s interesting is that THQ Nordic business and product development director Reinhard Pollice had stated that ELEX was “just too demanding right now” for the portable home console, so we’ll have to see what is announced in the coming months.
