United Label and Fallen Flag Studio have shared a new anime-inspired trailer for Eldest Souls, which will soon see release on Nintendo Switch.
The cinematic trailer is titled “At the Door of Death,” and has looked to offer “a glimpse into the vast, foreboding Citadel, inhabited by the calamitous Old Gods.”
In this pixel-art boss rush game, the Old Gods have broken free from their long imprisonment and are determined to wreak a terrible vengeance on those that defied them.
As a lone knight, you are the final hope of your civilization in the fact of their wrath. You must use your skills as a great warrior to slay them all.
Confronted with brutal and challenging encounters, you will explore the mysterious and ancient citadel that was once the Old Gods’ prison and remains as a long-forgotten monument to humanity’s hubris.
Every encounter that you have with the Old Gods will present a unique challenge, but, once toppled, you will be able to claim their power, unlock new Talents and Abilities and use everything at your disposal to defeat them all.
Eldest Souls will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 29th July 2021.
