Eiji Aonuma Seeks Out The Master Sword Of Resurrection

With The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild nearing release, Nintendo has looked for interesting ways to promote Link’s open-air adventure.

Discovery, exploration and adventure are elements that will play a key role in the Nintendo Switch and Wii U exclusive, and The Legend of Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma was challenged to put his survival know-how to the test as he sought the Master Sword of Resurrection.

Summoning all of his courage, a hilarious photo gallery shows Mr Aonuma on his daring quest: surveying the kingdom to spot any potential points of interest; taking down a Guardian from afar with arrows; that retreat should always be considered if you are ill-equipped for battle; taking a moment to appreciate the local wildlife; and how it is important not to explore on an empty stomach.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will release exclusively on Nintendo Switch and Wii U worldwide on March 3rd.
