Animal Crossing: New Leaf producer Katsuya Eguchi will lead an hour-long postmortem for the globally successful 3DS exclusive at Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2014, joined by game director Aya Kyogoku.
Eguchi previously spoke at GDC 2006 about his work on Animal Crossing: Wild World, with this year’s session to see the pair discussing what it was like to develop a game in such a celebrated franchise, and the challenges of trying to cater toward players both old and new to the Animal Crossing series.
Animal Crossing: New Leaf has been a runaway success for Nintendo this year, having sold 6.35 million copies worldwide as of October 2013.
GDC 2014 will take place at the Moscone Convenition Center in San Francisco, California between March 17-21st.
