EA’s Peter Moore apologises for Frostbite’s Wii U remarks

Yesterday saw the social media team behind the Frostbite engine take to Twitter to join in the joviality that surrounds April Fools’ Day.

Although their attempts at humour were soon scorned as they laid in to the technical prowess of Nintendo’s ailing Wii U, much to the dismay of many reading.

EA’s chief operating officer Peter Moore has now stepped in to act as damage control, apologising for the remarks and expressing that they were “not condoned” by the third-party publisher.

“Our apologies to partners Nintendo of America and fans”, Moore wrote on Twitter. Frostbite Engine’s poor attempt at April Fool’s not condoned by EA. Unacceptable and stupid.”
