EA: Wii U a “really nice fit” for Mass Effect

Mass Effect 3

Frank Gibeau, President of the EA Games Label, has revealed his belief that the Mass Effect series would be a “really nice fit” for Wii U.

During an interview conducted by Gametrailers, Gibeau was posed with the question as to whether Mass Effect 3 would be released on Wii U and whilst he said that EA hadn’t announced anything he thought it was a nice idea.

“I can’t say we are going to do it on the Wii U, but you can imagine what we could do with that controller in the Mass Effect universe,” Gibeau responded. “It feels like a really nice fit, but we’ll announce that when the time is right.”

The second instalment of BioWare’s space opera was previously brought across to the PlayStation 3, having previously been an Xbox 360 console exclusive, and is due to be followed next year by Mass Effect 3. I’m sure that Nintendo fans would more than welcome its appearance on the forthcoming Wii U.
