EA Sports have today announced that they are to bring the Madden football franchise to Nintendo’s upcoming 3DS handheld, due to be the first title from the publisher on the platform. is bringing the Madden football franchise to the Nintendo 3DS, and the game will be the first EA Sports title on the platform.
Entitled ‘Madden NFL Football,’ it is due to release within the first half of 2011 and is to offer full 11-on-11 play, scaled-down 5-on-5 action, a Season mode, and a streamlined GameFlow play-calling option.
The title will also utilise the handheld’s 3D capabilities through special 3D presentation cameras, and within the Spotlight Moments and Call Your Shots modes – with the latter providing the opportunity to draw your own plays on the screen using the stylus.
