Electronic Arts has confirmed that EA Sports Madden NFL 26 is in development for Nintendo Switch 2.
This ends the 13-year wait for the Madden NFL series to return to Nintendo’s platforms, with Madden NFL 13 released in 2012 for Wii U and Wii having been the most recent.
With years of NFL game data powering next-level coaching, quarterback authenticity and “explosive” gameplay, you’re invited to dominate the league in which every game will be a challenge on your path to becoming an NFL legend.
You can choose to pre-order EA Sports Madden NFL 26 ($69.99) or the EA Sports Madden NFL 26 Deluxe Edition + Limited Time Bonus ($99.99), which comes with three days early access to the game on 11 August 2025.
EA Sports Madden NFL 26 will be released at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide on 14 August 2025.
