Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson has shared how “excited” the publisher is to see Nintendo Switch performing strongly in the months that have followed the console’s March launch.

With consumer interest piqued by the console’s promise to let them play anytime, anywhere and with anyone, EA are now looking to see which games, beyond the “custom built” FIFA experience, that they can release on Nintendo Switch.

“We feel really good about it. We came out early and said that we will be supporting the Nintendo Switch with our biggest title in FIFA,” Wilson enthused in the publisher’s Q4 2017 earnings conference call.

“We have a tremendous relationship with Nintendo and have done for many, many years, and are excited by the fact that they have come out strong, and are bringing in a whole new player base into the ecosystem. We can continue to be bullish on it, and are looking at other titles that we might bring to the Switch.”
