Yoshi will star in a brand new adventure that promises to turn everything that you know about side-scrolling games upside down.

With the chance to explore a big world decorated like a miniature diorama, the Nintendo Switch exclusive will explore a new art style for the franchise after the character’s woolly adventure on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

The action platformer is being developed at Good-Feel using Unreal Engine 4 and will see each stage have a traditional front side as well as a flip side that promise to reveal different views and surprises.

Epic Games announced last month that the portable home console now has “fully-featured native support” with Unreal Engine 4, approved developers allowed the full source code for free.

Yoshi For Nintendo Switch, which, unsurprisingly, is a working title, will release exclusively on Nintendo Switch in 2018.
