Geoff Keighley had the chance to showcase LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 in action when TT Games head of design Arthur Parsons made an appearance on YouTube Live at E3.
The game, which opens with the Guardians of the Galaxy, will warp players into a cosmic battle across Marvel locations ripped from time and space into the incredible open hub world of Chronopolis, where they will face an epic battle with the time-travelling Kang the Conqueror.
That will take you from Chronopolis to Ancient Egypt, The Old West, Sakaar and New York City in 2099, taking control of iconic characters including Guardians of the Galaxy’s, Groot, Rocket Raccoon, Star-Lord, Gamora and Drax as well as Doctor Strange, Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, Spider-Gwen, Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Man 2099, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye, Iron Man, Ms. Marvel, Ant-Man, Captain Marvel, Kang the Conqueror and many more.
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 will release on Nintendo Switch later this year.
