The high-powered hybrid fuses arcade soccer, driving and rewarding physics-based gameplay to result in a sensational experience, with players taking to the pitch in an offline season mode, multiple game types, casual and competitive online matches, and special Mutators that let you change the rules.
With a deep customisation system, exclusive items and Battle-Cars will come to the portable home console – Mario and Luigi hats already revealed, with more details to come.
On Nintendo Switch, Rocket League will support TV Mode (1-4 players), Tabletop Mode (1 player), Handheld Mode (1 player or 2-8 players connected over Local Wireless), Local Play (1-8 players) and Online Play (1-8 players).
Importantly, the developer has confirmed that cross-network play will be available when playing online, letting you compete against Xbox One and PC players.
Rocket League will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch in Holiday 2017.
