E3 2017: Metroid: Samus Returns Special Edition Targets Europe

Nintendo of Europe has announced plans to release their own Metroid: Samus Returns Special Edition, packed with far more goodies compared to what Nintendo of America has detailed.

This will include a physical copy of the game, a download code for Metroid II: Return of Samus on the Nintendo eShop, a SteelBook case, a sound selection CD with 25 tracks plucked from across the Metroid series, a gold “S” pin badge, a Morph Ball 3D keyring and a 40-page artbook.

In comparison, the Special Edition that will be made available in the United States which will contain a physical copy of the game, the same a sound selection CD, and a reversible title sheet insert for the game case.

Developer MercurySteam has today shared how “honoured” they are to collaborate on the Nintendo 3DS exclusive.

Metroid: Samus Returns will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS worldwide on September 15th.
