Game Theory’s MatPat and pro-gaming player Allister Singh took on JD Witherspoon and Nairo in the Grand Finals of the Pokkén Tournament DX Invitational to be crowned the winning team.
Four teams with two players per team had duked it out in a crew battle with a random draft order – the first person in each crew having to choose one of the new characters, with the next selecting one from the original roster on Wii U.
As the resulting winners, MatPat and Allister Singh each took home a framed Pokkén Tournament DX art piece signed by The Pokémon Company president and CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara as well as developers from Bandai Namco Entertainment.
Pokkén Tournament DX will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide on September 22nd.
