E3 2017: Four Champion amiibo Defend Hyrule In Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

Nintendo has announced plans to release amiibo for the four Champions that appeared in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

That sees Zora Princess Mipha, the Goron warrior Daruk, the Gerudo Heroine Urbosa, and the proud Rito warrior Revali all recreated in amiibo form, with The Legend of Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma explaining that they will be compatible with content in the Nintendo Switch and Wii U exclusive’s Expansion Pass.

The Champions were four warriors plucked from four species that live in Hyrule, who were chosen to pilot the Divine Beasts. They were commanded by Princess Zelda and her appointed knight, Link, and were shown in the Memories sequences.
