Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered Release Date Locked In

Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have confirmed a release date for Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered on Nintendo Switch 2.

Reworked and enhanced using Unreal Engine 5, you will have the chance to rediscover battlefields as a character plucked from a roster of more than 40 playable officers in a gameplay experience that has aimed “to deliver a 1 vs. 1,000 phenomenon that blends modernity and tradition.”

That will include all content from the original Dynasty Warriors 3 game and the Dynasty Warriors 3: Xtreme Legends expansion.

Where Dynasty Warriors 3 had introduced True Musou Attacks, two-player simultaneous play and the officer development system for the first time, the expansion let you experience new scenarios for a selection of officers such as Lu Bu, Meng Huo and Yuan Shao. It also included bodyguard customisation, new weapons, and four new challenge modes to enhance your experience.

Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide on 1 October 2026. Those who pre-order the game before 30 September 2026 will receive the Red Hare Saddle-Retro Style as a pre-order bonus.
