While this won’t come as a surprise to those that have been busying themselves with Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS over the past month, Duck Hunt Duo were officially revealed as a new challenger in this week’s Nintendo Direct.
The unlikely pair will throw clay pigeons, kick cans and call on the Wild Gunman cast for assistance, as they look to battle their way to glory.
With the announcement accompanied by another perfectly executed reveal trailer, Nintendo have also shared that the NES classic – which has made use of the NES Zapper light gun – will be shortly available on Wii U’s Virtual Console service.
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS is now available worldwide, with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U releasing in North America on November 21st and in Europe on November 28th.
