Playdigious and Gamious have announced that Turmoil will release on Nintendo Switch next month.
With this game, the developer promises “a visually charming, tongue-in-cheek take on the simulation genre” which takes inspiration from the 19th-century oil rush in North America.
Your goal is to become a successful oil entrepreneur. To achieve that, you will need to lease land at the local town’s auction before searching for oil.
Once discovered, you will construct a rig, create an efficient pipe network and store the oil that your mining operations retrieve in silos.
Waiting to sell the oil at the most opportune moment to maximise profit, the town will grow along with your business as you purchase upgrades to overcome rock, gas and ice.
The game comes to the portable home console with The Heat Is On downloadable content, delivering a new town, oil-rich maps, resources, drilling mechanics, people and treasures.
Turmoil will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 28th May 2020.
