Square Enix has announced that Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age will receive a tweaked title on Nintendo Switch, news that series creator Yuji Horii had shared at Tokyo Game Show 2018.

That will be Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age S, or Dragon Quest XI S for short. That extra letter represents Switch, Special and Shaberu, which in Japanese refers to the voice acting.

But, as The Wall Street Journal technology reporter Takashi Mochizuki reports, Horii added that “S doesn’t mean small.”

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age S will release for Nintendo Switch in Japan.
