Dragon Quest X Beta set for February

During a Dragon Quest X Q&A session at Japan’s Jump Festa event, producer Yosuke Saito and director Jin Fujizawa have shared a wealth of information regarding the game.

It is scheduled to launch with six previously announced jobs, although will be updated with additional options following release including those that you wouldn’t expect from the series.

Saito also stated that the game’s Beta test would take place around the “time period of chocolate” pointing towards Valentine’s Day on February 14th. Although, unfortunately, this seems like it’ll only be available for Japan.

Square Enix will hold the first drawing for Beta testers by the end of the year, with successful candidates being notified by mid-January. The Beta test will then kick off in February, with additional participants being selected following this.
