Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3 announced for Nintendo 3DS


Japan’s Weekly Shōnen Jump has revealed that Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3 is currently in development for Nintendo 3DS.

Siliconera reports that series creator Yuji Hori promises new systems, monsters and connectivity functions within the article, with Akira Toriyama penning the game’s logo.

The Dragon Quest Monsters series began life on Game Boy Color, with the first Joker entry releasing eight years later on Nintendo DS. Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2: Professional was the most recent iteration, although was treated to a Japan-only release in 2011.
