Nintendo has released a software update for Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch, which now sees the game on version 1.0.1.
The publisher has recommended that you apply this update before playing the game, which adds English voices to some event scenes, adds more Traveller’s Tips, adjusts enemy behaviour AI, and more.
Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake is now available at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide.
Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake Update Version 1.0.1 Patch Notes
- English voices have been added to some event scenes.
- More Traveller’s Tips (i.e. tutorials) have been added.
- The Anti-Freeze Earrings and Asbestos Earrings have been added to the obtainable accessories in Dragon Quest I.
- Some adjustments have been made to the “Tactics” AI and enemy behaviour AI.
- Miscellaneous changes, minor bug fixes and stat adjustments, and performance optimisation.
