Nintendo and LINE Corporation have announced that Dr. Mario World is now available for iOS and Android devices around the world.
This new free-to-play action puzzle game continues the company’s efforts to create more opportunities for consumers to engage with Nintendo IP beyond their dedicated platforms – such as Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS.
With more than 200 stages in many different worlds, you must match capsules with viruses to then watch them disappear.
You are simply challenged to match three objects of the same color vertically or horizontally to clear them. But, you must take your time, as each puzzling configuration of viruses must be cleared using a limited number of capsules.
Whether playing as Dr. Mario, Dr. Peach, Dr. Bowser, Dr. Toad, or other characters, you can receive help from Goomba, Koopa Troopa, and Shy Guy who appear as assistants – providing doctors with valuable passive skills and effects, and players can even select up to two assistants at once.
And then, in Versus Mode, you can challenge friends or any other players online to a one-on-one showdown in real time.
If you link Dr. Mario World to your Facebook or Nintendo Account, you can see how your friends are progressing in Stage Mode as well as having the chance to earn and receive stamina-giving hearts.
Dr. Mario World is now available on the App Store for iOS devices and Google Play for Android devices worldwide.
