Focus Entertainment and Umanimation have teamed up to release Dordogne on Nintendo Switch.
Pitched as “a nostalgic and moving narrative experience,” you play as Mimi and must explore the precious recollections of your childhood and the time that you shared with your late grandmother.
Created with “sumptuous art direction across hand-painted, watercolour landscapes,” as the past meets the present you must confront your adult choices with your fond childhood memories to discover lost family secrets.
The publisher has outlined the game’s features as below:
- Explore the stunning landscapes of Dordogne in hand-painted watercolors;
- Embark on a unique and overwhelming narrative experience;
- Awaken your senses as you explore childhood memories;
- Collect photos, sounds and scents to create your journal, unique to your adventure.

Beyond the game, more than a business partnership, it is a creative exchange between the Umanimation and Focus teams, a collaboration that is based on shared values and ambitions.”

Dordogne will release digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2022.
