Bandai Namco Entertainment has confirmed a release date for Doraemon Story of Seasons: Friends of the Great Kingdom, which is coming to Nintendo Switch.
This is a sequel to 2019’s Doraemon Story of Seasons, continuing to build on “the popular farm simulation series known for its popular mascot and engaging world.” The beloved Doraemon returns for “an all-new original heartwarming story” in which you will join the robotic cat and his friends as they set up their farm on an unknown planet.
An experience that offers “casual farm simulation gameplay set against a picturesque landscape with realistic natural elements such as wind, light, and seasons,” you can choose to play solo or with a friend or family member in offline, local co-op – presenting the chance to team up to build your farm and enjoy activities together such as harvesting crops, tending to animals or going fishing.
There will be new Doraemon’s Gadgets to use, with unique tools such as a Mini Raincloud and Farm Restaurant that will help you to improve and better manage your homestead.
There is an early purchase bonus for physical copies – which is also a digital pre-order bonus – that will let you unlock the Summer Wear Set, Home Furniture Set (Retro Silver Table, Red Paper Lantern and Wicker Chair), and the Sweet Seeds Set.
The publisher will also offer a Digital Deluxe Edition, which will bundle the Season Pass and its three DLC Packs, the Premium Crops Seeds Set, Seasonal Vegetables Seeds Set and a digital soundtrack which has more than 80 tracks plucked from the original game and its sequel.
Doraemon Story of Seasons: Friends of the Great Kingdom will release at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 2nd November 2022.
