Jackbox Games has revealed Doominate as the second game in Jackbox Party Pack 11, which is in development for Nintendo Switch.
This game of creative sabotage is pitched as “a chaotic twist on joke-writing games where players take turns destroying each other’s wholesome ideas, all in the name of comedy.”
Players build running jokes by adding unexpected twists to each other’s prompts, with the answers going head-to-head, where the other remaining players will vote on whichever they feel is the funniest or most devastating.
Every player will have a shot at redemption in the final round, when they can attempt to “un-destroy” their friends’ idea with one last revision in an effort to restore some heart to the chaos.
“There’s a lot of opportunity to enjoy Doominate with friends and family or people you don’t know that well!” explains game director Brooke Breit. “You either find yourself indulging in inside jokes and deep references, or learning a heck of a lot about your new friends because when it comes down to it, it’s more fun to destroy things with others!”
Jackbox Party Pack 11 will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Fall 2025, priced at £24.99 ($29.99).
