Nintendo has released paid downloadable content for Donkey Kong Bananza on Nintendo Switch 2, news that was shared in last week’s Nintendo Direct presentation.
In the DK Island and Emerald Rush expansion, you will have the chance to barrel around with Donkey Kong and Pauline on DK Island, which is home to some familiar faces.
After beating the main game’s story, Void Kong will offer you a position in Void Company to collect as much emerald ore as you can in Emerald Rush, whether that be found on DK Island or in Layers from the main game.
In each run of this new mode, you will collect fossils to gain helpful Perks for different effects, and smash Banandium Gems to power up DK with skills. Playing this mode will reward you with new fashions, collectable statues that can be displayed on DK Island, and more.
Donkey Kong Bananza is now available at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide.
