Idea Factory International has announced that Dokapon Kingdom: Connect will release as a Nintendo Switch exclusive in the coming months.
Developers Compile Heart and Sting Entertainment have worked to remaster the hybrid RPG board game for the portable home console, which was originally released on PlayStation 2 and Wii.
Everyone in Dokapon Kingdom loves money. After monsters suddenly appear and begin attacking towns in an otherwise peaceful land, the economy collapsed and the mood among its citizens fell to its lowest.
With taxes no longer paid, the King takes action to gather the bravest warriors to rescue these towns so that he can get paid. In exchange for their efforts, whoever collects the most money will be rewarded with the Princess’ hand in marriage and the throne.
The publisher has outlined the game’s key features as below:

Dokapon Kingdom: Connect will release at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Spring 2023.
