BBC Studios and Maze Theory have announced that Doctor Who: The Edge of Reality is out now on Nintendo Switch.
This n game has seen developer Just Add Water expand upon the VR experience Doctor Who: The Edge of Time with “brand new gameplay, new monsters and new worlds to explore,” building on “a first-person sci-fi adventure focused on story, puzzles and exploration.”
Wielding the sonic screwdriver on a universe-spanning quest to save reality, you will be guided by the Thirteenth Doctor and Tenth Doctor, voiced by Jodie Whittaker and David Tennant respectively.
As you work to solve the mystery behind a series of time-breaking glitches, you will be confronted with classic Doctor Who monsters such as the Daleks, Weeping Angels and Cybermen.
“Players will love how they get to be part of a brand new Doctor Who story in Edge of Reality; and actively be immersed in the compelling adventure, alongside the two Doctors,” explains Maze Theory studio director Russell Harding.
We know fans love facing iconic monsters such as Daleks and Cyberman, but there will also be brand new foes equally as terrifying. The story around the ‘Reality Virus’ is incredibly tense and exciting, unfolding in brand new environments. We can’t wait to see their reaction!
