Disney Interactive were able to celebrate a year-on-year increase in revenue, largely in part to the success of Disney Infinity.

The increase saw a near 100 percent increase, Q4 2012 having seen the division earn $191 million compared to Q4 2013’s results hitting $396 million by September 28th. This was also aided by the Japanese mobile business, which saw yearly revenues increase 26 percent to $1.1 billion.

“We’re extremely pleased with our results for fiscal 2013, delivering record revenue, net income and earnings per share for the third year in a row,” comments Walt Disney Company chairman and CEO Robert Iger.

“It was another great year for the company, both creatively and financially, and we remain confident that we are well positioned to continue our strong performance and drive long-term shareholder value.”
