‘Disney Infinity’ to be unveiled next month

Disney are preparing to unveil their latest project next month, it has been revealed.

Polygon have received an invitation to an event in Hollywood on January 15th, which promises to lift the lid on the secretive development.

John Lasseter, chief creative officer of Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios, and John Pleasants, co-president of Disney Interactive, are both confirmed to be in attendance.

It has been rumoured that Disney Infinity will follow in the success of Activision’s Skylanders, using collectible toys that contain NFC/RFID chips that allow communication between them and the game itself.
