Disney Infinity continues to see success worldwide, with Disney Interactive having revealed that the game has now achieved sales of 1 million units globally.

It serves as an important milestone for the new franchise, which is looking to rival Activision’s enormously successful Skylanders series which currently dominates the market.

Disney will surely hope that sales will soon snowball as Christmas approaches, their continuing support for the title seeing the release of a Toy Story in Space play set this week that we’re certainly keen to get our hands on.
