As part of Game Informer‘s continuing coverage for Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition, the magazine has revealed that the Speedway Toy Box will be sold as a separate disc.

This racing-focused Toy Box mode parallels Mario Kart, instead drawing on Disney Infinity’s expansive character roster, vehicles and worlds. With development headed up by Sumo Digital, known for their work on Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing Transformed, the developer has worked on tightening the driving controls to make them more consistent with what is expected from the genre.

Players can expect to race through tracks themed around Frozen, Wreck-It Ralph, Star Wars and Monsters Inc., with others continuing to draw on Disney’s history.

Disney Infinity 3.0 will release on Wii U in Europe and North America later this year, with the Speedway Toybox releasing after launch.
