Disney Interactive have performed a hyperspace jump to see that Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition launches in advance of competition from Skylanders SuperChargers and LEGO Dimensions.
The Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition Starter Pack will be joined by the standalone Star Wars Twilight of the Republic Play Set (Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano figures included) and Disney Pixar’s Inside Out Play Set (Joy and Anger figures included) from launch, with plenty of other figures and Power Disc Packs to be available.
Characters that’ll hit retail at launch include Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi, Kanan Jarrus, Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren, and Zeb Orrelios from Star Wars Rebels, Inside Out’s Sadness, Disgust and Fear, and Disney Originals Mickey, Minnie, Mulan, Olaf, Sam Flynn and Quorra.
Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition will release for Wii U in Europe on August 28th, and in North America on August 30th.
