Nippon Ichi Software has announced that Disgaea Refine that will release on Nintendo Switch, which is a Disgaea: Hour of Darkness remake.
That has seen the publisher choose to return to the first strategy RPG in the series to mark the 15th anniversary, after first releasing on PlayStation 2 in 2003.
Disgaea: Hour of Darkness opens with Laharl rising from a coffin after two years slumber, only to learn that his father, King Krichevskoy, has passed away. He vows to reclaim the throne, meeting a quirky cast of characters as he does so.
Disgaea Refine will release for Nintendo Switch in Japan on July 26th.
